Our Vision
of Drive to Empower is to create a world where low income families have the resources and support they need to access reliable transportation. For single moms to be able to own a car instead of relying on public transportation. In turn, families will have more access to better paying jobs, healthcare, childcare ect. Having a reliable vehicle is essential in todays world.
About Us
Drive to Empower is a registered 501c3 charity dedicated to empowering low-income families in our community. Our mission is to provide essential support and resources to those who need it most.
Through our unique programs and initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families facing financial hardship.
One of our primary focuses is providing reliable transportation to low-income families. We accept vehicle donations and work diligently to match these donations with families in need. Additionally, we assist with the costs of major maintenance needed on owned vehicles, ensuring that families can continue to rely on their vehicles for daily transportation.
In addition to our vehicle assistance program, we offer monthly workshops that empower low-income families by teaching them basic car maintenance skills. These workshops provide valuable knowledge and empower individuals to take control of their transportation needs.
Furthermore, we understand that financial struggles can extend beyond transportation. That's why we also work with select low-income families to provide assistance with other essential items such as dog food, groceries, and other donations we receive. We believe that by addressing these basic needs, we can help alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by these families.
Our Goals:
1. Provide Safe and Reliable Transportation: Our primary goal is to provide low income families with safe and reliable transportation through car donations. We aim to remove barriers to independence and empower families to access employment, education, and essential services.
2. Empower Woman: We strive to empower women by offering workshops and resources on basic car maintenance and repair. By equipping them with the knowledge and skills to care for their vehicles, we aim to increase their self-sufficiency and confidence.
3. Provide assistance with car maintnance. Some families may have a vehicle that is in need of serious repair, we plan to be able to help get them b ack on the road. We have teamed up with different shops in the area to help.
4. Foster Collaboration: We believe in the power of collaboration and seek to build strong partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community members. By working together, we can maximize our impact and create a network of support for low income families, single moms and victims of domestic violence
5. Expand Reach and Impact: As we grow, our goal is to expand our reach and impact by increasing the number of car donations, workshops, and resources available to families.. We aim to serve more individuals and communities, ensuring that nobody is left without the means to rebuild their life.
By pursuing these goals, Drive to Empower aims to create lasting change in the lives of these families helping them regain their independence, rebuild their lives, and thrive in a safe and supportive community.
Car Donations

Drive to Empower accepts vehicle donations as a form of support as well as a way to help a low income family. The tow is free, and donating is easy! If you want to donate a vehicle that is still in running order or only needs minor repairs please fill out our online form and we will be in touch to arrange pick up ASAP!! Ways to Contribute
We are always looking for partnerships and donations from larger companies. We need Local shops, independant mechanics or technicians willing to donate some time or even a discounted rate, we need supplies, car parts, and gift cards.
